Gateway Seminar Requirements
- Students will receive a "Satisfactory" for EDUC 000 Gateway after attending a seminar, completing their Philosophy of Education assignment and turning in their fingerprints.
Field Experience Requirements
- Teacher Education students are required to participate in 10 hours of structured elementary and/or secondary field experiences in the Gunnison Watershed School District.
- You may complete your 10 hours in one semester OR spread them over the course of multiple semesters.
- You must complete your 10 hours prior to your internship year.
- FINGERPRINT CARDS MUST BE TURNED IN TO YOUR ADVISOR PRIOR TO ANY FIELD EXPERIENCE!!!
- You must sign up for field experiences through Carrieanne or Renee. They will give you the contact information for the teacher you will be working with.
- You must attend at least one Western Education Club meeting and/or event.
- Field experiences must be complete, and accountability forms turned in, before you can register for EDUC 340 and be admitted to the Teacher Education Program.
