TITLE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY
- Any sponsor willing to sign a two-year contract (negotiable) with the Gunnison Endurance Project (GEP) and the High Altitude Performance Lab (HAPLab) at Western State College of Colorado (WSC) will receive naming writes related to Team GEP and the HAPLab. All team racing gear logos will read “Title Sponsor” alongside the GEP logo below (shown on all team racing and training gear). Additionally, the “Title Sponsor” logo will be displayed in the HAPLab at WSC and all HAPLab references thereafter will begin with the “Title Sponsor.” For example, the lab will be termed “Title Sponsor” High Altitude Performance Lab at Western State College of Colorado. If a sponsor chooses this option, the cost will reflect the $18,770 per year to run Team GEP plus $10,000.00 per year related to the market value of naming the HAPLab at WSC. Thus a two-year contract as “Title Sponsor” of Team GEP and the HAPLab at WSC = $57,540. A one-year contract per discussion with Team GEP Directors is possible and will cost half the amount at $28,770. Of course, all sponsorship amounts in the form of product and/or cash are acceptable and negotiable. All product and cash sponsorships are tax deductable per Western State College of Colorado’s and Team GEP’s status as non-profit entities (501(c)3). Two- or one-year contracts are renewable and negotiable.
- Permanent naming rights of Team GEP and the HAPLab at Western State College of Colorado equals a one-time endowment of $500,000.00 with lifetime privileges listed above and below.
- Other benefits of “Title Sponsor” and Sponsorship of the GEP
- Sponsor logo displayed on all internet and paper promotions of HAPLab and Team GEP at Western State College of Colorado
- Sponsor logo displayed on all training and racing gear related to athletes and coaches
- Sponsor employees will receive free access to sport physiology, sport psychology, physical therapy, and massage sessions
- Sponsor employees will receive free exercise training consults with Team GEP coaches and staff in addition to meeting with other WSC ESS faculty (e.g. sport psychologist)
- Sponsor employees will be given half price (negotiable) related to attending a 6-day summer training camp implemented by Team GEP athletes, coaches, and professionals
- Sponsor logo included in all news media
- Sponsor name mentioned during all community service work projects
- Sponsor name displayed during the annual Sage Burner 50k/25k races at Hartman Rocks Recreation Area, Gunnison, CO (May 23, 2009)
- Constant and unique exposure to Gunnison – Crested Butte national class runners (Olympians), Nordic skiers (Olympians), trail runners, mountain bikers, and adventure racing athletes in addition to the general fitness population and Western State College students who embrace healthy, active, outdoor lifestyles
