- Marmot now has authority control.
- Projected to have federated searching in a "few" mounths
- Marmot will have e-commerce module so that patrons can pay fines, donate by credit cards
- Overdrive will soon have movies.
- 2008 is the end of the strategic cycle for Marmot. Next strategic cycle from 2007 through 2012-2013.
Ross from CLiC then gave presentation on CLiC.
- Courier service will soon expand to out-of-state; Kansas and Kansas State collections should be available ~2008-2009.
- Next CLiC Spring Workshop in Grand Junction will be Monday and Tuesday (February 25 and 26), deadline for presenting at Workshop is October 15th.
- CLiC has a number of tutorials.
- CLiC also has cooperative database purchasing agreements, we may look at Learning Express and PsychInfo.
2:45 pm OPAC Session
- Kid's overdrive version doesn't work.
- No iPod support.
- Freeze/Holds. When freeze holds is checked, "freeze hold in the same location in hold queue. Three other libraries are using this feature.
- WebPAC Pro relevancy ranking is the default display, no way to turn-off. Can also sort by date and title.
- My Record
- My reading history is available.
- Preferred seawrches, send e-mail when new item is cataloged that matches query
- Rating (rate-it) rates material using stars, shows up
- Edit personal information, updates patron record
- Limit search to available items in check-list
- In patron record can add electronic (web) message that shows up when patron logs into My Account
- E-commerce coming soon.
- Off-line program can be download that runs from PC, Eric would need to contact Keith to get details.

- Claim All Button
- Send claims; have student workers review everything in stack.
- UPC code on more academic journals can find in collection using Z39 field, UPC code should bin bib record.
- To include URL in holding record, use h <a href="url">full-text link</a>. Store in 863 not 856 field.
- MSC uses Goldrush from Colorado Alliance and not Ebsco AtoZ.
