- When weeding, student should first check to see when material was processed by looking at the date of the Depository stamp
- If processing date is later than 2003:
- Check to see item is on Super-ceded print-out
- Remove if item is present
- If processing date is 2003 or earlier:
- If item is on the must keep list, retain
- Remove item otherwise. Any questions about retaining material, please designate item as such when recording discards on wiki
- After items are removed, shelve remaining items according to SuDoc call number order or Colorado document order
- Put discarded items into AV Room, student worker adds list of titles and call numbers of discarded items to the discard list in the wiki.
- Jeremy creates offer list of discarded material after consulting with Regional Depository staff at CU Boulder. Material for immediate discarding will follow disposal process described in step 11
- List of titles and call numbers given to Shannon for removal from Marmot catalog
- If material is requested by other libraries:
- Student workers and Jeremy will prepare and ship material
