RSS - Bloglines

RSS is an set of XML vocabularies for publishing and subscribing to content from blogs, podcasts, news sites, and other types of published content. Typically, new items are posted to a blog and using a blog application, like Bloglines, you will be notified of the new item.

Bloglines is a popular way to organize your RSS feeds. View the following video for a tutorial on creating a Blogline account: http://www.palinet.org/rss/toti/tsstutorial.htm..

1. Create a Blogline account at http://www.bloglines.com/
2. Subscribe to the Savage Library’s Blog.
3. Add a blog that interests you (Bloglines has a list of blogs you can peruse)
4. Click the Tell A Friend link in left-hand navigation bar.
5. E-mail Jeremy to receive credit for this course.
