HAC/Glenwood Canyon - September, 2007

Glenwood Canyon
On September 30, the HAC drove over Kebler pass to go rafting in Glenwood Canyon. The fall colors and snow on the high peaks made for some memorable views along the Kebler Pass road.

Our trip included the entire Hays family (Shan, Sally, Alex, Joslyn, and Spencer), all of the Carrolls (Torry, Rosemary, Ethan, and Max), John Peterson and Jay (under protest).
After giving Jay and Alex a ride down the rapids below the Shoshone power plant, everyone jumped into the raft and the inflatable kayak, with Torrey as the lone hardboater. Kids hopped freely from boat to boat all the way down. We stopped at Hobo Hot Springs, just before the end of the canyon for a soak.
