Before coming to Western, I spent 15 years at Yale as a research scientist. I had the privilege to meet the Pace crew while I was there: Bob, Elena, and the rest of the gang. Now that I'm at Western my goal is to find interesting projects for my students to work on. Aurora is an excellent opportunity to teach about software engineering and web programming. This is a perfect way to involve my students in real-world issues and work on a very interesting problem.
My role in this project is to work with the Yale team to coordinate the efforts of my students on this project. I will be reviewing the software design, code, and documentation for this project.
Our team meets every Wednesday at noon, mountain time.
