Christian Challenge
Mission Statement
To challenge and train students to know, love, and glorify God, relying upon him to raise up qualified disciplemakers who will spread the gospel of Jesus Christ from Western to the ends of the earth.
Meeting Times
Weekly Meetings: We meet on Thursday nights at 7pm in Taylor Hall 327. The meetings will last approximately an hour to an hour and a half and we like to hang out after just for fun.We will have snacks too :)!

Women's Study- Wed. @ 7:30pm in Teocalli 206
Men’s Study- Tues. @ 7pm Ophir 208

Events
November
November 20th: Bobby Pruett will be speaking to the group on Thursday night! Bobby is an amazing man of God and is the Christian Challenge director at the University of Colorado Boulder. Come and hear some awesome wisdom from a man who is the father of eight wonderful children!!!
December
December 11th: Instead of our normal Thursday night meetings we will be having a dinner together to celebrate the birth of Jesus!
December 15th-18th: We do something every night of finals week so you can take a break from studying. We will be playing games, watching movies, and eating lots of good food. Come and join us for the fun (but don't neglect the studying!!!).

Fall Retreat
The annual fall retreat is a chance for all Christian Challenge groups across Colorado to join together to worship God. It's a time to hear great speakers, fellowship with others and have a ton of fun! This year's retreat was an awesome time to learn more about who God really is.

Adventures/Fun Activities
Every year we have many fun activities such as ice blocking, homemade pizza making nights, climbing 14ers, 1980's party, game nights, Wii nights, and this year some students even went out to brand cattle! The picture below is from Halloween night when we carved some pumpkins. Yum!

End of the Year Banquet
At the end of each year we all dress up to honor our graduating seniors at a banquet. We have great food and a wonderful time reminiscing the past year(s). Below is a picture of some of the guys in their ties!

Joe and Angela Ricks
Joe and Angela have been leading Christian Challenge here at Western State College for over 14 years. They have four children and love the Lord! Both Joe and Angela are alums of Western State College.
Michelle Kettle
Michelle has been on staff with Christian Challenge for nine years and enjoys discipling college students.
Tim and Jerri Puralewski
Tim and Jerri were both members of Christian Challenge of Michigan State University and the University of Michigan repectively. They joined the Christian Challenge staff here at Western in 2006. Jerri is also on staff here at Western State College go visit her in Ute Hall 133. She is in charge of the Mountaineer Card, Study Abroad, National Student Exchange and many other programs.
