Using this Wiki

This wiki is for WP to tell everyone else what's going on at Western. It contains people, places, trips, and anything else you want to put in it.

Anyone can browse through this wiki - it's just a bunch of web pages. But if you have an account, you can go in an add pages, change pages, add photos, anything you want. If you want to post anything (a little home page, some pictures, a list of trips you've done, pictures of your dog) you have to create an account first. You do that by clicking the "create an account or log in" button at the top of the page. You should use your real name as your account. This will automatically give you a "home page" - if you click your name you'll get there.

Anyone that wants to contribute is welcome to create an account. So even if you're just a trip participant or even just someone that can help us tell the world about the recreational opportunities near WSC please join in.

If you're logged in, you can change any page in the wiki. The good news is that if you screw anything up, someone else can fix it for you. Nothing is ever thrown away - even if you delete stuff by accident it's easy to get back. So don't worry!

You need to learn a little about "wiki formatting". This wiki is powered by MediaWiki - the same software that the Wikipedia uses. A guide can be found in the User Manual.

You can also click "edit" on any page and see what someone wrote to make the page look like that. Just click "back" in your browser to get out of the edit mode.

Photo Galleries

If you have a few random photos from a trip, these can be placed directly in the wiki. If you have a larger collection, please contact the WP director to create an official photo gallery for your trip.
