WBO 2007: San Juan Mountaineering

The San Juan Mountains, south of Gunnison, are a unique range of the Rockies famed for their remoteness and vastness. This 7-day trip will be the perfect introduction to mountaineering, including: trip planning, rock climbing, navigation, backpacking and mountain climbing. This fast-paced, yet rewarding, course requires carrying a large backpack at high altitudes (10,000 feet plus).
